November 15, 2018
Bangkok Bank joins with its business partners and subsidiaries to offer a variety of financial and investment products to answer the needs of customers in a digital age at ‘SET in the City 2018’. These products include ‘B-Advice’, financial investment advisory services with more choices to help customers who want to develop saving and investment plans to reach their financial goals within acceptable risk levels, as well as two new Retirement Mutual Funds (RMFs) for the last quarter in the tax deduction investment cycle.
Bangkok Bank Director and Executive Vice President Dr. Thaweelap Rittapirom said that the Bank will feature financial products and services to cater to the needs of investment and investment management at ‘SET in the City 2018’. Under the concept of ‘Bangkok Bank – Your Digital Life Partner’, the Bank continues to place great emphasis on being a trusted partner who offers useful advice to answer customers’ needs while using digital technology to enhance the efficiency of its services by creating new experiences in line with customer lifestyles.
One of the products featured by the Bank at this year’s event is ‘B-Advice’ – financial and investment advisory services for customers holding assets of one to three million baht in the Bank. The Bank does an analysis based on customers’ financial goals and risk appetite and suggests appropriate investment strategies with allocations in different asset classes to effectively reach their targets.
The advantage of ‘B-Advice’ is that the advisory staff are accredited as Securities Investment Consultants by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). These consultants will give customers advice along with a ‘Wealth Advice’ to help manage financial assets, design an investment portfolio in line with customers’ acceptable risk levels, and advise them on investment timing. The service includes: 1. A risk assessment and/or a financial health checkup 2. A financial advisory service to judge which types of investments would best suit the customer’s goals 3. An investment portfolio within the customer’s acceptable risk level 4. A follow-up check on the customer’s investment status and 5. A report on the customer’s investment status as approved by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) under the ‘5-Step Confident Investing’ program which has strengthened the Bank's position as a full-service financial advisor.
Dr. Thaweelap added that customers can also buy two new RMFs at the event. The first one is Bualuang Global Innovation and Technology Fund (B-INNOTECHRMF) which invests in the equity securities of companies worldwide that develop products, processes or services focusing on technological advances and improvements. The second one is Bualuang Asia Equity (B-ASIARMF) which invests in equity securities issued by companies in Asian emerging markets. Both funds offer new investment opportunities for good returns in the long run while unitholders can enjoy personal income tax benefits.
In addition, the Bank has collaborated with its business partner, AIA Thailand to offer BeTogether insurance products that serve customers’ needs. Bualuang Fund will offer many mutual funds and will introduce the BF Mobile Application which helps investors access useful information. Under the Wealth Plan and Consolidated Portfolio, users will find it easier to do their financial planning. Bualuang Securities will also showcase several of their innovative investments.
The public is invited to visit the Bangkok Bank booth at ‘SET in the City 2018’ from November 15-18, 2018 at the Royal Paragon Hall, Siam Paragon.
